Movement
The TruTrac Moveable Wall System is easily moved by one person
turning the control wheel in the direction of travel. Movement of
the wall is mechanically aided by a series of chains and sprockets
which drive two flanged steel wheels along each floor tracking guide.
The wheels at each end of the frame are connected by a
drive shaft which ensures that all rotate at exactly the same speed.
Additional polyurethane wheels are spaced along the drive shaft at
equal intervals to distribute the weight of the wall across the floor.
The control wheel may be locked for added safety.
Tracking
The TruTrac Moveable Wall System employs two parallel floor
tracking guides to direct the movement of the wall. The tracking
guides can be installed in any court flooring system; hardwood,
synthetic, floating or fixed. The recessed tracking guides are located
only inches from each side wall and can be installed the full length
of the court, allowing total flexibility of space and use.
Quality
The TruTrac Moveable Wall System is manufactured using only
high quality components. Internal connections are welded for
greater strength and durability. The drive shaft, wheels, sprockets,
flange bearings and control wheel are pre-installed to simplify
onsite assembly. Each frame is thoroughly inspected for fit and finish
prior to shipment and the detailed installation instructions include
step by step photographs for added simplicity.
Balance
The TruTrac Moveable Wall System uses the principle of
counterweights to balance the wall and eliminate tilt. Weighted
outriggers are welded to the main frame behind the two outside posts,
forcing the wall to remain upright at all times. Tracdog clips are
attached to the back of the outriggers and interlock with the floor
tracking guides. These clips guard against the chance of reverse impact
and provide an additional level of safety. With the TruTrac System a wall
up to 12'0" in height can easily be moved.
