Lockers
Anderson Courts is pleased to offer a premium line of custom wood lockers with key
features below:
Doors
Doors are available in 3 basic styles; raised panel, recessed panel, and wood veneer,
and all are available in a wide variety of wood species. Raised Panel Oak doors are to
have 3/4" plain sliced FAS solid northern red oak stiles, rails, and panels. All style
and rail joints are to be glued. Door face edges are to be bevelled or smooth rounded.
Door Finish
The finish can be natural or stained. Stain sample to be provided by client and matched.
Finish to be one coat sanding sealer and 2 coats moisture resistant catalyzed lacquer.
Hinges
Heavy duty fully concealed hinges by Blum, smooth or spring loaded, 140 degrees with
lifetime guarantee. Doors 42" or less to have 2 hinges. Doors greater than 42" to have
4 hinges.
Locks
Heavy duty keyed cam lock, with 2 master keys and 2 keys per lock, chrome or brass finish.
Master Lock built in combination lock with master key override, electronic locks, padlock
hasps and coin, card or token, are also available.
Clothing Hooks and Rods
All clothes hanging hardware is to have a chrome finish and treated to resist tarnishing.
Number Plates
Lockers to be identified with an engraved metal plate, chrome or polished brass finish,
secured by matching screws, oval shaped, 2" wide by 1" high.
Materials and Construction
Locker frame to be 5/8" high density particleboard. Both sides are to be thermally fused
melamine for high impact, stain resistant, easily cleaned surfaces. All lockers to be
built as fully assembled independent units, with no common walls, for greater strength
and easier installation. Locker frames to be constructed using both dowels and screw joint
for maximum strength and rigidity.
Fillers
Supply horizontal fillers at tops of lockers, material and finish to match locker frames.
Supply vertical fillers at ends and corners, material and finish to match doors.
Bases
Supply bases to be ¾" water resistant poplar ply boxes, carpet ready or laminated, height
to be approved by client. Bases are supplied in 8' lengths, with some boxes cut to lengths
according to site measurements supplied by the general contractor.
Venting
All horizontal frame pieces to be recessed ¾" from the face of the door, for venting by
natural air convection.
Installation
All lockers are shipped fully assembled and wrapped for protection. Installation
instructions and fasteners and bases are to be supplied. Bases are to be ¾" water resistant
poplar ply boxes, carpet ready or laminated, height to be approved by client. Bases are
supplied in 8' lengths, with some boxes cut to lengths according to site measurements
supplied by the general contractor. Bases must be installed so that the tops of all bases
in one room are level. Lockers in peninsulas are to be secured to one another. Lockers along
walls are to be installed to wood strapping or backing, and to each other.
Other Products
Grooming stations, towel stations, end panels, crown molding, and benches are also
available. Interior configurations are easily modified with shelves and drawers to best
suit your club members needs.
Warranty
Lockers are fully guaranteed to be free from defect in materials and workmanship for three
years. Locks are warranted by the manufacturer for one year. Hinges have a lifetime
manufacturer's warranty.
