Gordon Anderson anticipated that the United States would follow Canada in adopting the International game of squash - requiring the conversion of all courts in the U.S. to conform to the new international dimensions. Within a couple years, Anderson's projections and instinct proved accurate! Since 1987, Anderson Courts has led the court industry as a proven builder of squash and racquetball courts in the United States and Canada. The company has also been contracted for courts in Mexico, the Caribbean in addition to other unique outposts in the world. Backed by an experienced team in the office and on the job, Anderson Courts is committed to providing the best in materials, systems, service in planning, constructing and maintaining its courts and systems. | Gordon Anderson, PresidentHideRecognized worldwide as a player and advocate, squash has been a vital part of Gordon Anderson's life since he was 12. As a junior player growing up in Toronto, Gordon proudly represented Canada in a number of World Championships. He is acknowledged not only for the Titles he has won, but his fair play and humor both on and off the court. As a club owner of a 16 squash court facility in Toronto in the '80's, Gordon brings an owner's experience to facility owners/managers who are planning to build courts. His experience as a player demands the best in materials and workmanship. Quality is Gordon's most focused outcome as his name is on every Anderson court. Relocating to Buffalo, NY in 1987 to start the squash court construction company, Gordon is both an American and Canadian citizen. Rob Orfeo, Construction ManagerHideRob joined Anderson Courts in 1996 after 16 years of working as a carpenter and supervisor in residential and light commercial construction. He has been involved in every aspect of court construction, including four years of field installations. His experience as a crew member and leader has proven invaluable in working through the details of each job. Rob is devoted to quality and demands the same from suppliers and his crews, drawing compliments time and time again from owners and architects. Rob is a graduate of Denison University. His hobbies include photography, gardening and woodworking. Justin Myers, Assistant Construction ManagerHideJustin joined Anderson Courts in 2007 and is fully engaged in the roles of estimating, plan review, and working with contractors in the initial stages of a job. Justin manages project logistics including material orders. His quest for quality improvement finds him taking an active role in new product development. Anderson Courts values Justin's advancement and supports his pursuit of the Project Management Certification from SUNY at Buffalo. Justin has also enrolled in the Construction Management Engineering Technology course at Erie County Community College. |
